How To Paint

The Willow Wolfe Recipe For Painting

It is our belief that creating beautiful artwork is meant to be a fun and relaxed journey.   Achieving results is all about building skills to achieve results.  From fantastic backgrounds and simple embellishments all the way through to intricate birds, delicate florals and exciting wildlife.  Building relationships between nature’s creatures is our speciality.  We hope you will allow us to build a relationship with you on your artistic journey!

At Willow Wolfe we beilieve that it is necessary to build a strong foundation with:

  1. The Right Ingredients

Quality products and tools of the trade are essential to creating a beautiful work of art.  Don’t skimp on the basic supplies. The products we promote in our literature, on site and in seminars are great quality.  Poor quality products do not offer satisfactory results.

2.  Embellishment

Whether painting backgrounds or adding embellishments we feel it’s the unique finishes and touches applied to a work of art that make it exciting.  A textured stencil, or a gilded corner can create the professional touch every painting deserves.

  1.  The Basic Skills

Great art all about building skills.  From the first stroke to that final satisfactory dot within the eye of an animal, each part of your work is a learned skill.

Like any great recipe…the ingredients are combined in stages.  In the following pages you will find many helpful hints and techniques to create a fantastic result!
