What would you call your ‘style’? Quirky?
What are you currently working on? A palette knife painting in oil
Who are your art heros? Georgia o’Keeffe, Mark Chagall, Vader Clarhout(south -african artist)
What qualities make your art distinctively you? The way I use colour and mark making
Where do you create? In my sitting room
What do you do when you hit a creative block? Take a break, It does not last long. Sometimes I get to a point that I am painted out.
Do you teach? Yes, Oil and watercolour, Gelli printing, Mixed media, at Tawa Community Education and one on one at my studio. I just love to share, I am born into a family of teachers, it comes naturally to me
What do you listen to when you create? Audio books, TED, you tube….
What other things do you like to do creatively? More painting!
