What Does That Brush Do?: Fan
A fan brush creates a thick-and-thin lined appearance in a single stroke, which looks beautiful on mixed media backgrounds. The fan is a staple for landscapes and foliage due to the shape of the brush, which spreads (or fans) but, allowing paint to be applied in multiple directions in a single stroke. Follow along with the image of our three step painting technique guide to learn how to use a fan. Visit Willow Wolfe at her home studio or a variety of workshops to discover what your brush can do for you! For info sessions you may also contact Willow to book a private one hour event. Event costs are $20/person.
