Teaching Art in California
This past weekend, I had the opportunity to teach three groups of wonderful students for the Palomar Heritage Painters chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters in California.
The chapter goes above and beyond for each of its participants. Offering gift baskets, raffles, incredible breakfast, lunch and desserts as well as hand painted name tags. They painted dozens of name tag Ravens, one for each participant, as seen in my recent Society of Decorative Painting magazine article, Raven Pendant.
I taught three different seminars, one of which was Red Floral, a painting designed over ten years ago. Each student painted beautifully.
I had the pleasure of meeting many talented artists and spending time with smiling faces that I have painted with at conventions throughout the years! It is friendships like these that make our world a connected place.
Students painting with Princeton Select Artiste and Velvetouch brushes and Cobra Water Mixable Oils.
Had some amazing sea bass oceanside at Poseidon restaurant…
With a beautiful view!
Fantastic evening view from my hotel!
